Introduction
In Yezin Agricultural University, the department of English stands as one of the departments of compulsory subjects. There is an evitable one that English language plays as an academic subject in tertiary level due to the fact that First semester, Second semester and Third semester are occupied.
Mission
- To train the candidate to be able to improve their English language competency especially in communication.
- To enhance their comprehensible English in learning atmosphere of their academic subjects.
- To be able to overcome the challenges of language barrier especially in English for their future professional career and postgraduate studies.
- To reflect with standardized assessments and recommendation on command of English to graduates.
Academic Role of English Department
English, as an academic subject, is being taught to the first year and second year students to develop their language four skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking in order to read agricultural text books; to write research findings or research articles; to present discussion and to participate in international scientific seminars and meetings.
